Refund and Returns Policy

1. Scope and Applicability

  • This return/refund policy applies to purchases made from our store (in-store or online).

  • The policy is subject to and must comply with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa (CPA).

2. Consumer Rights under the CPA

  • The CPA does not give a general “cooling-off” right for change of mind, except in certain cases (e.g. direct marketing).

  • Under Section 16 of the CPA, if goods were purchased via direct marketing, the consumer has a 5-day period to cancel and return after receiving the goods.

  • In other cases, returns/refunds are given only under the conditions in this policy (defects, wrong delivery, etc.).

3. Conditions for Return / Refund

We accept returns or issue refunds (or replacements) only under the following conditions:

  • Defective or Damaged Goods: If the product is faulty, damaged, or does not perform as promised, notify us within 7 days (or a reasonable period) of receipt.

  • Wrong Item Sent: If you received an incorrect product, contact us immediately and we will arrange collection and replacement.

  • Packaging & Condition: Returns must be in original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and undamaged.

  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide the original receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Inspection: Returned goods may be inspected before a refund or replacement is approved.

  • Return Costs: Unless the item was defective or wrongly supplied, the customer bears the cost of returning the goods.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Certain items (e.g. custom orders, cut-to-size materials, sealed goods once opened) may not be returnable unless defective.

4. Refund Method & Timeframe

  • Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for purchase (where possible).

  • We will process refunds within 10 business days of receiving the returned goods and verifying their condition.

  • If replacement is chosen, we will deliver or make available the replacement item within a reasonable period.

5. Exchange / Replacement

  • Where possible, you may choose to exchange the item for an equivalent product (subject to availability).

  • If the replacement is of higher value, you will pay the difference; if lower, we will refund the difference.

6. Cancellation & Order Changes

  • For online or phone orders, cancellation or changes can be requested before the product is shipped.

  • Once shipped, the above return rules apply.
